Chopper Spins Out of Control into Palm Trees at Frequented California Coast
A helicopter soaring above a well-attended coastal beach unexpectedly began spiraling out of control, finally descending rapidly and smashing into a line of palm groves as onlookers looked on.
Footage posted on social media depict the aircraft starting to spin near Huntington Beach then descending in the direction of the border of the shore, where it ends up lodged amidst palm trees and a staircase near the Pacific Coast highway.

Emergency responders reported five individuals were rushed to the hospital involving a pair who were in the chopper and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the accident on the weekend.
